Una idea nata da un concorso: un fiasco, come direbbe Oriol Bohigas. L’espressione migliore di quanto richiesto dal tema è la disposizione delle attività e funzioni organizzata secondo livelli planari cartesiani disposti sia secondo l’ordine orizzontale e verticale. L’insieme degli interventi determina un parco organizzato su più livelli, completamente fruibile, che contiene sia le funzioni portuali richieste, sia il parcheggio rivolto al pubblico delle stazioni balneari limitrofe. La proposta consiste nel risolvere il tema nella zona a ponente ottenendo uno spazio fluido e naturale che, mediante alcuni slittamenti e salti di livello, risolve il sistema distributivo pedonale in funzione del parcheggio senza barriere in essa ospitato. Nella zona a levante è prevista la costruzione del collegamento con la spiaggia per diversamente abili, il volume necessario alle funzioni portuali produttive mentre il parcheggio in struttura a rampa continua costituisce la barriera visiva acustica ed ambientale necessaria alla protezione dello spazio pubblico rispetto alle attività portuali.

An idea born out of a competition: a fiasco, as Oriol Bohigas would say. The best expression of what is required by the theme is the arrangement of the activities and functions organized according to Cartesian planar levels arranged both according to the horizontal and vertical order. The set of interventions determines a park organized on several levels, completely usable, which contains both the required port functions and the public parking of the neighboring seaside resorts. The proposal consists in solving the theme in the western area obtaining a fluid and natural space which, through some shifts and level jumps, solves the pedestrian distribution system according to the barrier-free parking housed therein. In the eastern area, the construction of the connection with the beach for the disabled is planned, the volume necessary for the productive port functions, while the continuous ramp structure parking constitutes the acoustic and environmental visual barrier necessary for the protection of the public space with respect to port activities.
